China Unicom Board of Directors Elects Chen Zhongyue as Chairman

According to a statement released by China Unicom, the 27th meeting of the 7th Board of Directors of the company has reviewed and approved the Proposal on Election of Chairman, electing Mr. Chen Zhongyue as the Chairman of the 7th Board of Directors of China United Network Communications Co., Ltd. for the same term as the current Board of Directors. Mr. Chen Zhongyue resigned from his position as CEO.
