2-pole test cord LSA test plug to alligator clip (TP-1220-2TA) is used for testing the telephone line. The LSA plug is used for inserting into the LSA module, and the alligator clip for connecting to the telephone testing kit.
The grey 2-pole cord permits parallel connection (monitor function) when it is used in the connection or disconnection module. The contacts of the cord bridge the centre contacts of the module which permit monitoring of the line (connection line). 2-pole cords cannot be used in switching modules. The metal contacts would not make a positive contact in this case.
